RISER SLEEVE PRODUCTION PLANT
Riser is mainly used to avoid shrinks which can be occured during casting part’s coolingDuring pouring process, riser goes into reaction with the molten metal and metal’s temprature is increased +200-200°C. Because of its chemical structure including caustic and burning molecules, it can burn without oxygen requirement. Riser can hold temprature of molten metal due to it’s insulation ability, when casting part starts to cool down, riser feeds necessary points with molten metal to avoid any shrink and corruption on casting part.
According to usage area, risers divide into two main groups as before molding and after molding application. According to production type there are fibered and defibered types. Risers, produced with both methods, are the same in terms of chemical performance and usage, only production method and durability are different.
